Myloplus rubripinnis, the Redhook myleus, is a medium to large omnivorious fish of the family Serrasalmidae that is found in the Amazon River in the countries of Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela.
