Tanganyika Cichlids
Lake Tanganyika is located in the great rift basin of east central Africa. It is the seventh largest Lake and the second deepest lake in the world followed by Lake Baikal in Siberia, Russia. With it's pH at 9.0 and temperature range of 71.6-78.8 F it is an ideal home for it's over 200 mostly endemic, cichlid fauna.
