Metriaclima Callainos (Albino Cobalt Zebra) - 1.25-2.25 inches

Scientific Name: Metriaclima callainos (albino) is know by the common name Albino Cobalt Zebra. This is the albino version of the common Cobalt Zebra. As with many Metriaclima, is a herbivore and territorial in the aquarium. Callainos is a great fish for a beginner and is found in the Standard mix and Prestige mix featured on the specials section of this web site. This fish gets 5 to 6 inches and males and females are identical except for the lack of egg spots on many of the females. This mbuna does well with the Red Zebra Stampede or Ultracolor Fish Food augmented with Hippocampus Green to provide the spirulina and plant material so vital for mbuna health. They appreciate the addition of a quality aquarium or Cichlid Salt at the rate of 1 teaspoon per gallon of water.
