ANGEL MAJESTIC LARGE Euxiphipops navarchus Common Name: Majestic Angel Description: The Majestic Angel is striking in color, with a well-defined bright blue area girding the head and frontal area of the body. The coloration extends along the bottom of the fish covering the ventral and anal fins. The fins have light blue edges and the lower part of the head is yellow and separated from the bright blue portion by a clear light blue line. The light blue line also separates the yellow portion of the body covered with blue spots. The dorsal fin is yellow and overall it looks like a yellow saddle os over the back of the Majestic Angel. Recommended Tank Size: The Majestic Angel requires a tank size of about 100 gallons with a temperature between 75 - 79 degrees Fahrenheit and a pH level of about 8.3 - 8.4. The tank should provide plenty of open space for swimming and lots os places for hiding. Food & Diet: The Majestic Angel is an omnivore and may be fed greens, pellets, and fakes. The diet for this fish should consist of large chunks of meaty foods. The varied diet can include krill, raw table shrimp, squid, clam and mussel. It is also a good idea to occasionally supplement with some type of herbivore diet containing spirulina and supplement with a sponge fortified formula specifically for Angelfish.
