The Flame Angel is bring red in color with an orange/yellow bast to its body. At the ends of the top and bottom caudal fins the Flame Angelfish has a few black vertical stripes with some purple. Recommended Tank Size: The recommended tank size for the Flame Angel is about 40 gallons. The tank should be equipped with plenty of good quality cured live rock and a well spaced aquarium with caves, archways, and overhangs for swimming and hiding. The temperature of the tank should be about 72 - 78 degrees Fahrenheit with a pH level of 8.1 - 8.4. Food & Diet: The Flame Angel is an omnivore that can be fed greens, pellets, and flakes. The diet should be varied with a wide range of foods given to the fish. Avoid fee Flame Angelfish a specific food for too long as it can cause them to have help problems. The Flame Angelfish likes to eat marine algae, mysid shrimp, spirulina, and other meaty items as well as algae based foods.
