GOBY DIAMOND LARGE Valenciennea puellaris Common Names: Pretty Prawn, Maiden, Orange Spotted Diamond, Orange-dashed, Orangespotted Sleeper Goby Description: The Goby Diamond originates from the Indo-Pacific Ocean and can add excitement to any tank. They have a long body, white with orange colored diamonds along the body. They are also known to last a long time in the tank. Recommended Tank Size: They should have a minimum of a 50 gallon tank if not larger. The Goby Diamond likes live sand at the bottom of the tank to rest and it is where they get their food. They also use the sand to make burrows for protection. Goby Diamond will rest upon coral and clams in the tank. Food and Diet: The diet of a Goby Diamond should be varied. They feed upon live and frozen brine shrimp, live black worms, and prepared foods for carnivores. It is recommended that you feed them frequently rather than one or two large meals a day.
