GOBY BAR SMALL Ptereleotris zebra Common Name: Bar Goby, Zebra Dartfish, Barred Dartfish, Zebra Dart Goby Description: The Bar Goby is also referred to as a dartfish, possibly because it's shape may remind of a dart - by being sort of long and thin. This fish is light green in color with pink bars on its body. There is also a pink blotch on the gill cover and there are also blue lines on the fish's head. Recommended Tank Size: The Bar Goby should be kept in a tank able to hold at least 20 gallons of water with a steady temperature of about 75-78 degrees Fahrenheit and a pH level of about 8.3-8.4. The Bar Goby is a very peaceful fish and will get along well with other less aggressive tankmates. The Bar Goby is a bit of hider and will enjoy a tank with plenty of places to hide in, this will only last a few weeks though just until the fish gets comfortable within the tank. These fish may enter the tank as pairs or small groups, it is important that they all be introduced to the tank at the same time. Food & Diet: The Bar Goby is a carnivore.
