Scientific Name: Aulonocara maylandia originates from Eccles Reef & West Reef, Malawi and is commonly called the Sulfur Head Peacock. The Maylandi is consider by most one of the lesser aggressive of the peacocks. It is a carnivore and does well on the Rainbow Zebra and Red Zebra Stampede with supplemental feedings of Krill. This fish is frequently included in the Peacock and Hap/Peacock mixes found on the Specials section of the web site. This peacock is mildly aggressive and reaches 6 inches at maturity.
