Pink Anthias  MEDIUM

In stock

Anthias belong to the family Serranidae, and make up the subfamily Anthiinae. These fish are commonly seen in photos of the reef in vast schools of pink, orange, yellow, or a combination of those colors. Like some others in the fish world, anthias are hermaphroditic. They are all born female and when the dominant male of the harem is gone, one of the females will usually become a male. This usually leads to trouble with the other subdominant males if any are present. In a small aquarium, this could be a problem. Otherwise, anthias are a peaceful fish and they can be found in every tropical ocean in the world.
