Potters Angel Centropyge potteri Common Name: Potters Angel Description: The Potters Angel has orange stripes running down its face and body, accentuated with dark purple stripes. The dorsal and anal fins as well as the caudal area are a dark blue-black. Recommended Tank Size: The Potters Angel should be kept in a tank of about 50 gallons. This fish is generally shy but seems to be a very peaceful tank mate. This tank should be equipped with live rock that allows for plenty of hiding places. It is important to make sure that any live rock placed in the tank has been cured, also the tank should have plenty of caves, archways, and overhangs for swimming and hiding. The water temperature in the tank should remain between 72 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit with a pH level of 8.1 - 8.4. Food & Diet: The Potters Angel is an omnivore that should be served a balanced diet. Their diet should be varied and they should not be fed one single type of food for too long. The Potters Angel can be fed krill, raw table shrimp, squid, clam, and mussels. It is okay to add greens, pellets, and flakes to the diet as well. Level of Care: Moderate Reef Compatibility; Reef compatible, proceed with caution, eats the corals and clam mantles.
