BASSLET ROYAL GRAMMA MEDIUM Gramma
Common Names: Royal Gramma, Fairy Basslet
Description: The Royal Bassletl Gramma will bring beauty to any fish tank. They are two tones, bright in color and relatively small in size. On the anterior part of the fish the Roya Basslet Gramma is a vibrant purple; the exterior is vibrant yellow. Males tend to be larger than females. These species are native to the deep-water refs of the Caribbean of the Atlantic Ocean.
Recommended Tank Size: The Roya Basslet Gramma does best in a normal reef tank with temperature of 75-84°F. These fish should be kept in a reef system of at least 30 gallons or more and have good water circulation and quality. They are also known to be shy fish, they typically come out to feed but then go back to their hiding places when they are startled. It is very important that you give these fish plenty of hiding places of live rock and is recommended that you have two separate hiding places for every Roya Basslet Gramma in the tank.
Food and Diet: Since it is a carnivore, feed a varied diet of meaty fare, including marine fish, crustacean flesh, mysis shrimp, and quality frozen preparations. Roya Basslet Gramma tends to like a wide variety of food and needs to be fed daily.
Level of Care: Easy. Very good beginner fish.
