Angel Midnight Small Centropyge Nox
Common Name: Midnight Angel, Black Nox Angel
Description: The Black Nox Angel gets its name from the the fact its entire body is black. Many of the other angelfish has very vibrant colors of blue or yellow, but this fish stands out more because of its beautiful black body.
Recommended Tank Size: The recommended tanks size for the Midnight Angel is approximately 30 gallons. This tank should be equipped with lots of live rock to create an ample amount of hiding places for the Midnight Angel. Make sure the live rock has been cured, it may also be a good idea to add in caves, archways, and overhangs for the fish to swim through or hide in. While this fish is a relatively easygoing tank mate, it should be the only Dwarf Angel in the tank. The temperature inside the tank should be kept at about 72 - 78 degrees Fahrenheit with a pH level of about 8.1 - 8.4.
Food & Diet: The Midnight Angel is an omnivore. It can be fed greens, pellets, and flakes. The diet should include spirulina, marine algae, myses shrimp along with other meaty items such as shrimp and clams.
Level of Care: Moderate
Reef Compatibility: Not reef compatible, eats soft coral polyps, clam mantles, and zoanthids.
