Angel Grey Atlantic Pomacanthus arcuatus Common Name: Grey Atlantic Angel, Grey Angel, Grey Black Angel Description: The Grey Atlantic Angel is a striking fish that is a wonderful addition to any tank. Aptly named the Grey Atlantic Angel, the fish's body is grey with dusky blue polka-dots. The caudal, dorsal, and anal fins also have the same dusky blue polka-dot spots. The face of the fish is a clear, pale, silvery grey color. This fish appears different as it grows from a juvenile to an adult, the juvenile Grey Angel is black with yellow stripes. Recommended Tank Size: The Grey Angel should be placed in a tank able to hold about 180 gallons of water with a temperature range between 75 - 79 degrees Fahrenheit and a pH balance of about 8.3 - 8.4. This tank should be equipped with large amounts of live rock for hiding and grazing. Food & Diet: The Grey Angel is an omnivore that may be fed greens, pellets, and flakes. The fish should be fed a varied diet that includes algae, sponges, meats, vegetable bits, or prepared. This diet will ensure that the fish get its proper nutrition.
